Our Approach

Ruth partners with individuals and families to plan meaningful, personalized funeral services by guiding them through thoughtful conversations, legacy-focused planning, and clear communication of final wishes.

Legacy Planning with Purpose

As professional funeral planners, our goal is to come alongside individuals and families as a partner to ensure they have a service plan that is a meaningful representation of their life story and the legacy they want to leave for their family and dear friends. We help people navigate through the many decisions related to planning a funeral.

We follow three C’s as basic steps – Conversation, Create, and Communicate.

Conversation

Preplanning your final arrangements does not involve any contractual or monetary obligation. It simply means that you make decisions about your final arrangements during your lifetime, to help ensure that your wishes can be carried out after your death.

Our initial conversation sets the expectation and determines your needs. Do you just need a review, have questions, need updates or just starting?

Create

Together, we focus on your legacy by exploring what matters most—how you want to be remembered and the values you hold dear. We consider your preferred final disposition, whether burial or cremation, and the options available to honor your wishes.

Our My Final Act of Love Planning Guide helps you document the important details your loved ones will need, from your life story and service preferences to key contacts, donor choices, and social media. It also covers essentials like your estate, medical directives, insurance, and guardianship plans for children.

You can even include a final letter or video—ensuring your legacy is clearly communicated and meaningfully honored.

Communicate

Funeral planning at any time can be complex, uncomfortable and for some painful. It is difficult to talk about, let alone plan the inevitable. It is especially difficult to plan or talk about our own to your loved ones. We will give you the support you need to with sharing your wishes to loved ones. We will help you decide when, how and the way in which you should communicate to your loved ones or professional designee.

It’s important to document your final wishes, and let your family members know where the documentation can be found.

We’re here to help - with compassion, clarity, and care.
